Summer teams in all divisions play in the city interlock league which unlike spring ball games are NOT scheduled on specific days because diamond access varies from league to league.
Summer Uniforms
All summer players (except T-Ball and Rookie Provincial) will receive an apparel package which is included in registration fees. Included are baseball pants, dry-fit jersey, socks and hat. Navy belts are a required part of the summer uniform and available for purchase at Valiquette or at other retailers - returning players usually have one already. Teams will be advised of a timeframe for them to attend Valiquette sports for sizing. Rookie Provincial players are provided with a team jersey they will keep.
Holidays
It is understood that summertime brings family holiday time, and we realize players are likely to be away for some games, perhaps even a couple of weeks at a time. This should not stop you from registering. You will be asked to indicate known/expected vacation times in the registration form to help us plan team rosters with vacations in mind. We try to have an adequate number of players per team so that holiday absences are not problematic. The exception to this is in the all-star divisions where players MUST be available for district, provincial and national competition dates.
