These sessions are intended to prepare athletes for the summer competitive program offered by SOLL. Participation is limited to athletes with interest and intention to compete for a spot on an all-star or Canadian level team. Athletes who do not participate in winter skills are equally considered at tryout time in June. Similarly, acceptance into the competitive winter skills program does not mean an athlete has a spot at this level.
Girls League -- Development Sessions
Open to new and returning players.
At the moment we do not have specific sessions for girls rookie or girls major. Interest was low last year and coaching has not come forward so far. However, there is space available and we'll set it up if we hear from coaches willing to head it up.
MINOR GIRLS
This session is open to all girls who were eligible for the Minor program in 2024 and to last year’s Rookie players who are moving up to Minor in 2025. In addition to hitting and fielding, parts of this clinic will focus on throwing and pitching to appropriately transition athletes to player pitching which is introduced mid-season. We are encouraging coaches and potential coaches to come out too, especially for the pitching sessions so that the learning can be reinforced in season.
